Welcome to the After Hours Sweater Club!

We are beyond jazzed to have you.

Our first sweater in the series is So Faded by Andrea Mowry. So Faded is a top down raglan great for beginners! Don’t be intimidated by the yarn weight, this one flies off the needles. In fact, Paul has made two and Kendra has made five! This is a fun construction that is simple and really lets the yarn do the work, which also means you can adapt the pattern for stripes, color blocking, whatever! So buy those beautiful skeins you’ve been ogling for the socks you’ll never make and blend them up in this simple, and gorgeous sweater. Trust us, it will become a staple in your wardrobe. We HIGHLY recommend Dream In Color Smooshy with Cashmere for this project.

What?

After Hours Sweater Club is exactly what it sounds like! We meet after store hours, and we make the viral sweaters we are all tempted by on TikTok and Ravelry.

The Club is a combination of things: education, community, and fun. Each weekly Club Meeting is detailed by techniques we will teach and aspirational expectations for the work to be completed for next Club Meeting. However, community and fun are just as important. Think of it like a really cool After School Club for adult humans who share a love of making beautiful, sustainable garments. We will spend 6 weeks on each sweater with a 7th bonus week- our (U)FO Gathering - Share your (Un)Finished Objects and have a cute time celebrating our progress together!

Who?

Anyone who can knit! Each After Hours Sweater Club project will have a difficulty rating and list of used skills. If you are feeling like a challenge, the Club Meeting Schedule details out each week by techniques we will teach you. Still not sure? Ask a team member! We are happy to consult you to make sure you have a successful time in the Club.

When?

After Hours Sweater Club will be weekly on Tuesdays from 5:30 to 7:30ish.
